23. Does cold weather kill lice?
No. Contrary to common belief, head lice remain unaffected by the cold weather outside. While many other pests tend to become dormant in freezing temperatures, head lice are rather indifferent to the outdoor climate. Despite standing outside for extended periods without a hat, the bugs in your hair will remain unharmed. This is because the lice rely on the temperature of the human head and the blood within to sustain their survival.
