About The Lice Project Foundation
The Lice Project Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free professional head lice treatment, education, and prevention services to underserved communities across Texas.
Founded by Miranda McMahon, owner of The Lice Angels, the Foundation was created to reduce stigma, prevent school disruption, and ensure every child has access to safe, dignified lice care — regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Statewide Impact. City-Level Partnerships.
The Lice Project Foundation is launching a mobile clinic initiative designed to serve multiple Texas cities through strategic community and corporate partnerships. Their mission is simple:
Through both a brick-and-mortar clinic and a fully equipped mobile lice treatment sprinter, the Lice Project Foundation brings services directly into communities that need them most.

Why This Matters to the Industry
Access to professional lice treatment changes outcomes for families. When infestations go untreated due to financial barriers, children miss school, parents miss work, and stigma spreads.
By funding treatment and education, The Lice Project Foundation:
- Increases public trust in professional lice care
- Promotes education-first solutions
- Strengthens community awareness
- Elevates standards across the lice treatment industry
Each city served becomes a measurable story of impact.
Partnership Opportunities
The Lice Project Foundation offers corporate and city sponsorship opportunities that directly fund treatment and outreach efforts. Sponsors may support individual Texas cities, helping provide free lice removal services and educational resources to families within that community.
Partnership recognition may include:
- Mobile clinic branding
- Social media visibility
- Website acknowledgment
- Inclusion in educational media initiatives
